Visitors can also meet Robin Hood, Maid Marion, and the Sheriff of Nottingham, who will share tales of their adventures, and book a time slot for face painting. Throughout the festival, the award-winning gardens and grounds of Hever Castle will be open for visitors to explore and enjoy.

Behind the Scenes Tours

During the May Day Weekend Festival, some rooms in the castle will be closed until June 25. However, visitors can still enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour, which provides a unique opportunity to explore areas of the castle that are not typically accessible to the public.

Golf and Wellbeing

In addition to the festivals and events, the Hever Castle Estate offers a 27-hole golf course and a Wellbeing Centre with five treatment rooms, providing visitors with opportunities to relax and unwind during their visit.

General Information

The grounds of Hever Castle are open until 6 pm, and the audience can enter from 6:30 pm for evening performances. Visitors can bring their own picnics or dine at the Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant, and there are opportunities to stay overnight within the Hever Castle Estate.
