From Newcastle, Alnwick, and the south, you can catch the Arriva X15 (for Newcastle) and change at Alnwick onto a northbound X18/418 or change at Belford onto a southbound X18/418.

From the coastal villages of Alnmouth, Craster, Newton, Beadnell, and Seahouses, you can catch either the X18 or 418 bus to Bamburgh. If you’re traveling from Holy Island, you can catch the Perryman’s 477 service and change at Beal Filling Station. However, the timetable for this service changes virtually daily due to the tidal causeway to Holy Island.
