The trail is a new addition to the Christmas festivities at Warwick Castle, which also include an ice rink, winter stalls offering festive food and drink, and a Horrible Histories® Scavenger Hunt.
Booking and Timeslots
Tickets for the Light Trail can be booked online through the Warwick Castle website, with a choice of a daytime castle and evening Light Trail ticket or just an evening Light Trail ticket. The daytime castle and evening Light Trail ticket allows visitors to explore the castle and grounds during the hours of 10am-4pm, followed by the evening Light Trail timeslots starting from 4.30pm.
The Light Trail is very popular, and visitors are advised to book their tickets in advance to secure their preferred timeslot. It is not possible to change the timeslot on the day if visitors arrive late, and tickets are not available for on-the-day purchase. Visitors are also advised to arrive 5 minutes before their timeslot, allowing extra time if parking in the Stratford Road car park.
Annual Pass Holders
Annual pass holders, except for Merlin Discovery passes, receive an exclusive 20% off their Light Trail experience. Pre-booking is required, and annual pass holders must present their Annual Pass upon arrival to gain entry.
